Itinerary: Hanoi –Cao Bang – Bao Lac- Me Pja Pass- Angel Eye Mountain-Pac Bo- Phong Nam valley - Ban Gioc Waterfalls – Vinh Quy Hills –Cao Bang City – Hanoi

Itinerary

Night 01: Hanoi-Cao Bang (overnight on the sleeper bus)

20:00: Pick-up by minivan from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to the bus station.

20:30-21:00: The sleeper bus departs from the bus station to Cao Bang City.

5:00: Arrive in Cao Bang City, and sleep in our hostel for a few hours before starting the journey.

Day 01: Cao Bang- Nguyen Binh Bamboo Forest- Bao Lac (B, L, D)

07:30: Check out of the hotel, and have breakfast in Cao Bang City.

08:00: Rise and shine! It's time to have the day's most important meal and depart for Bao Lac. The scenic route will take you to:

- Cao Bang Museum (for a cultural and historical visit)

- N-shaped pass- Vu Nong Pass

- Bai Tinh Thong Nong

- Nguyen Binh town (located in the western tourist route "Exploring Phja Oac - Mountains of changes" of the UNESCO Non-Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark)

12:00: Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant at Ban Nga

- Nguyen Binh Bamboo Forest, also known as Ban Phung Bamboo Forest (enjoy the fresh air and explore local culture)

- Nam Ngua Waterfall

17:00: Check in at the homestay in Bao Lac town.

18:00: Enjoy dinner and have time to explore Bao Lac, visit local markets, and interact with the community.

Day 02: Bao Lac- Me Pja Pass- Pac Bo- Angel Eye Mountain- Ban Gioc Waterfall (B, L, D)

7:30-8:00: Have breakfast at the homestay

8:00: Start the journey to visit:

- Me Pja Pass- Khau Coc Cha Pass- 14-storey pass

- Pac Bo village

- Tra Linh border

- Angel Eye Mountain (explore the valley and enjoy the unique mountain with a hole through the center)

12:00: Lunch stop at the local restaurant in Quang Uyen.

- Phong Nam Valley

- Quay Son River (explore the streams and flatlands of the valley).

17:30: Check-in at the homestay near Ban Gioc Waterfall.

19:00: Enjoy dinner and have free time to relax.

Day 03: Ban Gioc Waterfall- Nguom Ngao Cave- Vinh Quy Hills- Cao Bang City- Hanoi (B, L, D)

08:00: Breakfast at the homestay

- Nguom Ngao Cave (trek 30 minutes through the cave)

- Phat Tich Truc Lam Pagoda (explore many impressive works)

- Ban Gioc Waterfall (boat trip up to the foot of the waterfall, photo stop, and explore the area on foot)

12:00: Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant at Vinh Quy.

- Vinh Quy Grass Hills- Ba Quang Grass Hills (explore the area, optional to climb to the flag pole up top)

- Doc Lap Waterfall

15:30: Arrive in Cao Bang. Enjoy Tea Break Time with a welcome drink, and fruit.

16:00: Say goodbye to the journey in Cao Bang City and get ready to go back to Hanoi

23:00: Arrive in Hanoi. The driver will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

- Self-drive tour requires a valid motorbike driving license

- Standard motorbikes for both self-drive and easy riders are 110cc. Request for larger motorbikes (150cc), incurs an additional charge of $20 per day
